When Mr Palmer found himself working from home, he and Mrs Palmer soon realised that the dining table wasn’t exactly ideal office space. Having thought about a garden studio for some time, when Mrs Palmer was left a little windfall after losing her mum, she decided to spend it on something that would be a permanent reminder of her mum. She started the search for good, local supplier of garden rooms.
Mrs Palmer said. ‘Yorkshire Garden Studios popped up on the internet and, as they weren’t far away, we decided to go and have a look at what they could offer. As soon as we arrived at the showground we were so impressed, everything was so clean and tidy. All the vehicles were lined up looking so smart and the garden studios were perfect. Exactly what we’d had in mind. We spoke to a lovely young lady and she arranged for a salesperson to come out and visit us at home.
‘When the salesperson came out we also talked about changing our old French doors. We agreed that we’d have all the work done at the same time – the new patio doors, window and the garden studio.
‘When the guys came to build the garden studio, we were so impressed. The standard of workmanship is just immaculate and the guys worked incredibly hard. Everyone at Yorkshire Garden Studios has been so helpful and professional.’
‘He does have a lovely desk in the corner’ said Mrs Palmer ‘and the studio is kept toasty warm for him with just one heater. The studio is so lovely though, we’ve put a dining table and chairs in there so that in the summer months we can open up the doors on to the decking and have a beautiful dining area. My mum was never happier than when she came to us and was able to sit and look out on the garden. The garden studio is the perfect way for us to remember her.
